I was looking at the fuse diagrams in the Ford Taurus owners manuals for the 1997 model and the 2003 model , they are both rectangular in shape but inside they are totally different ( so the answer would be no )

Go to your auto parts store and ask for a Chilton's manual ( about $20 ) for the make and model of the car you are interested in. In my experience, only the Chilton's ( and the shop manuals ) has wiring diagrams. You can go on the12volt.com and they have wiring diagrams.....
