Where you can buy a teacup Maltese will depend on where you live and how far away you are willing to go to get it. However, what people are labeling teacup dogs are NOT CHEAP and they can have health problems throughout their lives because of their small size. Try www.petlink.com they have heaps of dogs but there not all cheap
You see... teacup pigs originated in north Belfast and have been breeded there for many, many years. Contrary to common belief, teacup pigs can only be purchased in a small city near Belfast, called Hlvisnk, for less than three thousand dollars each. If you happen to find teacup pigs anywhere else, then the person trying to sell them has already bought them and is now attempting to sell them illegally; there is no way he could have raised them anywhere other than Belfast. If this does happen, you should contact the proper authorities imediately. The key to getting the pigs for a low price is found in the bartering stage; always keep eye contact and try not to stick with only one price unless you have a gun and you easily pursuade your victim using it.
"Teacup" is just a name for a smaller-than-average puppy, usually by breeding two undersized and possibly sickly dogs, and repeating the cycle. "Teacup" puppies are often badly-bred puppies, with no concerns to their health or temperament - they are only bred to produce the smallest-sized puppies possible. No responsible breeder will breed or even sell a very small or unhealthy puppy.
Please don't buy a puppy from a pet store or Internet site - they are primary outlets for puppy mills, which churn out puppies in shockingly cruel conditions!
Responsible breeders don't sell through pet stores or to people they haven't met, and they certainly don't sell small or sickly puppies. You can find out more about how to get a puppy from a shelter or a truly responsible breeder at www.humanesociety.org/puppy
Look for poodle breeders in the paper or on line under toy or teacup poodle breeder, don't buy them from a pet store, most of them are from puppy mills and are not healthy.
A person could purchase a teacup maltese, a type of small dog, from pet stores. However, the best way to purchase this dog would be through a breeder.
I believe that it would be called a Teacup Maltese Poo.
A teacup Maltese is a smaller Maltese. The term "teacup" is a marketing tool referring to really small, and often unhealthy, dogs. "Teacup" puppies are often badly-bred puppies, with no concerns to their health or temperament - they are only bred to produce the smallest-sized puppies possible. No responsible breeder will breed or even sell a very small or unhealthy puppy.
Teacup pomeranian, Teacup maltese.
300 feet long and a meter wide! :p
Yes! what else would it be a hunting dog...! of coarse it is. any dog with teacup in front of its name is a lap dog.
There is no such dog breed as a maltipoo. Nor is there any size of dog called a "teacup", the smallest size for dogs is toy. "Teacup", "pocket", etc., are names that some breeders started calling their undersized runts to con idiots into buying them at an inflated price. So the proper wording for you question is:~Is a toy poodle and Maltese mixed breed dog larger or smaller than a toy poodle and Maltese mix that is the runt of the litter?~The answer to your question would be that generally a normal sized dog is larger than an undersized dog...but since you are asking which mutt would be larger, there is no guarantee how either dog will turn out.
yes, they grow up--to be 5-8lb--unless they are a teacup Maltese (then they will be 3-4lbs). Maltese also mellow down as they grow up. (like any dog) :)
2 maybe 3 in some cases.
The average life span for a Teacup Maltese is 12-15
Maltese breed usually weighs 4-8 pounds as an adult. Anything smaller makes them fragile and much more prone to health problems.
They have 4, Dolche a Chihuahua, Gabanna a black Lab, Bella a teacup Maltese and Butter a mixed breed
Names of the dogs? Riley and Maci. Not sure which is which though! Ok, Riley is a Maltese-Yorkie, and Maci is a Maltese. Don't know what happened to their previous dog Daisy a teacup Yorkie.
