Helen Keller was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama. When she was 8 years old, she went to school at the Perkins Institute for the Blind in Massachusetts. She attended schools in New York and Massachusetts, then went to Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Keller lived in Forest Hills, Queens, New York and in Massachusetts. After Anne Sullivan died, Helen Keller moved to Connecticut and traveled the world speaking and raising funds for the blind.
Helen Keller lived in Tuscumbia, Alabama for most of her childhood. She later attended Radcliffe College in Massachusetts and spent much of her adult life in Connecticut.
