Assuming that the Ancient Israelites did come out of Egypt (as there is minimal archaeological evidence for this), the main Israelite settlements were in the Judean Deserts, the Samarian Highlands, the region of Gilead on the East Bank of the Jordan River, and the Galilee Region. The West Bank composes most of Judea and Samaria (with some parts overflowing into the State of Israel. Gilead is currently a small part of Jordan. The Galilee Region is in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.
