We can send pictures into Emails easily via Gmail. You have to place the scanned pictures on to the drive. Then the scanned pictures can be uploaded via attachments on Gmail.
There is no conversion of .jpg to .doc at this time. However, if you wish to insert the picture, remember what folder you saved the picture to and what you named it, then insert it. If you want the picture as a background to the word document, you'll have to go to Format + Background + Fill Effects. Go to Picture. Select picture. If you wish to edit the picture, unless you have some professional-grade software, or don't mind doing a sloppy job on MS Paint, I do not believe it can be done.
paste it into a program that supports the file type you scanned, if it is text then word, works, reader or other document editor. if it is a picture then paintshop, photoshop or other graphics editor

Scan it into the computer (eg I have scanned pictures of aircraft from calendars I couldn't cut up), or if you don't have a scanner take a picture of it and download it into the computer.l
The simplest way to reduce the size of a picture is to open it with Microsoft Paint, click save, then close it. You will notice a significant reduction in the size of the picture file. Secondly, you can you any photo editing software, then use the "Edit Picture" then "Resize" funtion.
The scanned graphic should not disappear when you go to the advanced drawing in Print Shop 23. This graphic can still be accessed through the toolbar.
