∙ 15y agoThis greatly depends on how you define a Nation verus city states\ tribes \ regions. The oldest conventional "Nation" as most people would define nation as would be China. After that depending on continent you could say Mayans, Aztecs, Rome, Etheopia, Egypt, and ancient Babalyon would be some of the earliest "Nations" as most would recognize but depending on how you define a "Nation" your milage may vary.
