The Philippine American War began in Manila and lasted through the fourth and fifth of February of 1899 with as many as 2,000 Filipino's killed wounded or captured. The other battles included:

There were between 34,000 and 1,000,000 civilian non-combatants killed and estimates of between 12,000 and 20,000 Filipino Rebel Combatants killed. US losses reached 4,165 killed, but that includes about 3,000 whose cause of death was by disease and another 3,000 who were wounded in action. The Philippene Constabulary and Philippine Scouts had an additional 2,000 killed or wounded. The War ended on 4 July 1902 although among the Moro and a few others continued hostilities until 15 June 1913.
