Regular (Blue Water Navy) USN men serving aboard warships, served off Yankee Station (North Vietnam's coast) & Dixie Station (South Vietnam's coast). Brown Water USN men served in the Riverine Forces in SOUTH Vietnam. USAF men servicing B52's & other strike aircraft served in both SOUTH Vietnam and Thailand. USAF Pilots & Aircrewmen primarily fought the Air War over NORTH Vietnam; this is where most of the US Prisoners of War (POWs) came from. USA & USMC men served in SOUTH Vietnam. Covert (Secret Operations) personnel served in Laos/Cambodia.
