This question basically is a twist of the question: Where did Cain get a wife? OK - basics first. Adam lived to the ripe old age of 930 and had many sons and daughters (Gen5:4 - don't laugh). The average age of the people in Genisis 5 are 800+ years. Adam had Seth at age 130 so Cain was younger than that (no age in Bible).Moses gave the law of not being able to marry/conceive with a family member +-2000 years later (Lev18:6). Now - understand this. If you knew your great, great, great, etc... grandfather and grandmother that lived in 1108 and they were the only people on earth at that time, how many people would be on earth now? About 2 147 483 648, if population doubles every 30 years. Apart from that you may actually know him physically because he may be alive still! SO - If Cain married at age +-100 he would have (50-50 split male-female) 64 females to choose from. If he waited until age 500 (middleaged for that time) he would have about 65 536 females to choose from. Have you ever seen a farming community of 131 072 people living in close proximity. No way! They split up for the grazing land and cattle land. Groups lived on their own land (not country). Nod was to the east of Eden. Plog was to the west of Eden (just kidding). How hard can this be to understand. Please don't say thet no one lives for 900 years. Oh really. Do you think this earth is in the same condition as before the flood? Think again. It's ruined and only has a fraction of beauty left. God will fix it again when the time is right!Greetings - JJ
