Siron rises from the Celtic Goddess Sirona..........this cult was mainly found in in East Central Gaul.........think most of Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg over into north eastern France and in Germay as well.
Sirona was the goddess of healing and thus words sounding like this are often associated with bodies of water: like the Syre River in Belgium

in Latin it is Seronae
There are many statues to Sirona in these regions as well as a few temples
