There really is no specific "place" where "gay" people live. They are just people after all and live everywhere that "straight" people live.
Statistically, there were more gay people in cities than rural areas. San Francisco and other 'gay-friendly' areas have been known to attract more gay men.

∙ 12y agoEverywhere. The US census hasn't counted us directly, but judging from the statistics they have compiled, it appears that there are at least a few gay or lesbian people in every county in the US.

∙ 13y agoIf you wanted the stereotype answer, I would say San Francisco. If San Francisco isn't an option, I would stick with areas that are rural since they are more modern and accepting of the gay culture. Suburban towns and the majority of the south would most likely shun the gays because they are Bible huggers.
