The violent storms known as hurricanes in the Americas, cyclones in the Pacific and typhoons in Asia form out at sea, usually tropical seas, where water temperatures exceed 26.5 degrees Celsius. They then follow the warm water currents.
These violent storms occasionally start in the Atlantic and the Pacific in the tropics and subtropics and move with the Trade winds; usually the hurricane/typhoon (called differently in different places) moves eventually to higher latitudes. It ends within 5-14 days but can leave behind mass destruction.
Hurricanes don't start in Florida, the form over the ocean sometimes travel to Florida. The cannot form over land.
Hurricanes start out as areas of low pressure and stormy or rainy weather over warm ocean water. Was moisture evaporates from the ocean it feeds into the low pressure area, causing it to strengthen. As it intensifies the pressure in it drops and it starts pulling in more air. As a consequence of earth's spin this inflowing air starts to spiral counterclockwise (it is clockwise when this happens in the Southern Hemisphere). As the developing storm system strengthens and starts to rotate it becomes more organized. Once it has a well enough defined circulation it is called a tropical depression, the weakest level of tropical cyclone. As the depression gains more strength its wind speed increases. Once winds reach 39 mph it becomes a tropical storm and is given a name. If it strengthens until winds reach at least 74 mph the storm is now a hurricane. Often, at this stage the winds in the storm are spinning so fast that they cannot reach the center (they would get flung out if they did enter), forming a relatively calm area called they eye. However, the pressure in the developing eye is still quite low and pulls air towards it. So it pulls are in from directly above. As this air is pulled down it warms up, causing the rain and clouds in the eye to evaporate.

No. Only Atlantic hurricanes, and even then, only about half of Atlantic hurricanes start there. Hurricanes can also form in the west Atlantic and the Caribbean. Hurricane Katrina, for example, formed near the Bahamas.
There are islands in the ocean
Hurricanes form the most in late summer because that is when the oceans are warmest. There is a season for Hurricanes. They start at diffrent times of the year for the Atlantic and the Pacific, but stop on the same day.
No hurricanes are caused by instability over warm oceans creating thunderstorms which start to spin and join together.
how did hurricanes start? For my whole life I was wondering how hurricanes start but noone has found an answer so please tell me how it started.
morriah Amanda and abby are so cool
No, hurricanes start over warm water.
All hurricanes start over the warm tropical oceans.
what are the effects of hurricanes on life and property ant the economy
No, they start in tropical oceans.
No. Hurricanes start over water and tornadoes are on land.
