In dense urban areas like mine foxes can tend to rest during the day in many different gardens and behind sheds and when disturbed will make a quick dash for it. Many of times i look out into the garden to see a little nose poking out from the hegde. And if i need to go outside its a little rustle of the bush the knocking of the fence behind and their gone.
