The magical beasts in Beast Quest all evolved from a Beast called Anoret who created the first Avantian Beasts known as Firepos, Gulkien, Nera, Falkor,Varlot and the Troiden.
(Some of the Beasts were created by wizards such as the beasts in series 2, 6, 9 and 10)

The magical beasts in Beast Quest come from a fictional world called Avantia. They have been created by a dark sorcerer named Malvel, who has the power to enchant and control these creatures to bring chaos and destruction to the land. It is up to the protagonist, Tom, to defeat these beasts and restore peace to Avantia.

What is the last beast quest book?
The last Beast Quest book is either Amictus the Bug Queen, Number 30, or Kragos and Kildor the 2 headed demon, which ever is released first. A number of secrets will be revealed, like why Taladon abandoned Tom when he was born, and how Tom's mother died. Kragos and Kildor is probably the last one, as the series is realesed, and then the special, but the last series book is Amictus the Bug Queen. If you buy Kragos and Kilder the 2 headed demon of amazon it will come in august 2009.

Had they come out shortly after the XYZ fusions, perhaps they would be called something else.But Gladiator Beast Fusions can be fused at any time during the turn player's main phases, so long as the monsters are successfully summoned to the field, and not destroyed upon summoning.
