Pvc is not made be used in an automotive application.
If you chose to go with an "off label" use your on your own!
pcv (positive crankcase ventilation) is usually connected to a central vacuum source at the base of the carb.
The pcv valve is the small hose connect to the intake between the air filter and the throttle body. Its pretty easy to find as it is the only other part attached to the intake hose.
The pcv valve should be in a rocker cover with a hose going to a constant-vacuum source such as the base of the carb of a port in the intake manifold.
Hey Chris==It is in the right valve cover. There should be a hose from it to the intake or carb. GoodluckJoe
Follow the 1/2" to 5/8" black round hose (usually pre-formed to shape) from carb. Will go to PCV valve in the valve cover on engine heads or will be in the intake manifold(which the carb sits on)
There will be a hole in the valley pan under the intake manifold. This takes a rubber grommet that the PCV goes into. Then the hose runs to either the large port on the carb, or there should also be a port in the intake runner that it can hook to.
It's on the valve cover, look for a hose that goes to the carb and the pcv valve just pushes into the valve cover through a rubber grommet. If this is a Pontiac powered Trans Am the PCV valve will be in the valley pan, just under the intake. Should be in front of the carb.
the pcv is in the back center of the plenium (intake) has a hose on it that goes to the left valve cover the pcv is in the back center of the plenium (intake) has a hose on it that goes to the left valve cover
The first place to look is a vacuum leak, like a bad carb. to intake gasket or disconnected/ cracked hose, or even a faulty pcv valve.
I really don't know about the dual carb set up but it generally starts in the valve cover and ends at the pcv valve which is screwed in the intake manifold. The pcv valve is under the carbs. If you look up from the bottom of the car there is a black box right next to the oil filter. There is a hose from the oil pan to the bottom of this black box. On the top of the box is another hose that connects from the black box to the engine. If you take off the top hose to the black box the pcv valve is mounted in the top of the box.
The intake manifold.
It hooks up to the vacuum ports on the carb or intake.
the brake vacuum booster connects to the intake manifold all by itself and the PCV valve hose should hook directly to your carburetor.
