There are two forms of cleaners used in the automotive industry. One that's poured into the gas tank,in which is not as effective as the second form induced at the engine, which is usually more concentrated and way more effective.
Yes, read the instructions the can. I recommend Seafoam or Techron fuel treatment.
octane boosters or fuel injector cleaner. You can buy octane booster from autozone from anywhere from 1.99 to 8.99 or 9.99 for the really good ones. Fuel injector cleaners you can find for around $4. Lucas is a really good product
One of the best diesel injector cleaners available is Fleetguard's Asphaltene Conditioner. The cleaner is a premium fuel additive and is made by Cummins.
Allmost allways add it to a full tank.
Hope this helps, Mrkhh. i suppose so but u should try it to really find out
Modern fuels have a fuel injector injector cleaner built into them. However I do recommend you use a good fuel injector cleaner such as Seafoam or Chevron Techron once a year.
Pouring the injector cleaner down the throttle body won't clean the injectors. You need to add the injector cleaner to the fuel tank for it to help you. Read the instructions on the container of injector cleaner.
There have been many oil additives and engine cleaners. There are few oil additives that actually help increase friction modifiers in conventional and synthetic oils.Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment is the best fuel injector cleaner. It includes both injector cleaners and fuel conditioners in one bottle.
Not sure what you mean. You can add a liquid fuel injector cleaner to the gasoline in the fuel tank if that is what you are referring to, just follow directions on the container.
neat time you fill your car with fuel make sure you buy some injector cleaners this will help the problem.
you could add gas treatment liquid to your gas tank or you could buy the fuel injector cleaner tool and run the system with fuel injector cleaner which is alot faster. other then tht you could take each fuel injector out and spray carb clener through the fuel injector until you see nice spread out spray coming out.
Get a mechanics stethescope. Engine idling listen to each injector, you should hear them clicking as they operate. If you're having problems gat a can of JECTRON fuel injection cleaner or Techron fuel injection cleaner. Add to 1/2 tank of fuel. Don't waste your money on STP or other cleaners, they don't do the job IMHO.
