well for one they do not have a dipstick there is a fill plug by the drain plug you will need a specail tool or take it to a mechanic
you can find out which transmission by taking VIN # to a Isuzu dealer
I heard someone comment that it has a "sealed" transmission, therefore, a dealer has to add fluid. I own a 2002 Isuzu axiom. they don't have a dipstick but they do have a holding tank on the right side you check and add fluid there.
On the 2002 Rodeo the transmission is sealed and is non servicable by the owner. You cannot even check the fluid level so I advise taking it to an Isuzu repair shop.
The 2001 Rodeo has a sealed transmission. The only way to change it is to pump out the old fluid and refill it via the route. This is not for the weekend mechanic and I suggest that you have a dealer do it.
will a 3.2L 2000 Isuzu Trooper engine fit a 3.2L Isuzu rodeo transmission
No they do not match. the 1999 uses and AISIN transmission and the 1995 uses a JATCO transmission.
In my 93 Isuzu Rodeo you have to add your transmission fluid buy poring it into the the transmission fluid dipstick.
There is none. The 2001 Rodeo has a sealed transmission. The only way to change it is to pump out the old fluid and refill it via the route. This is not for the weekend mechanic and I suggest that you have a dealer do it.
