Check your owners manual. Most transmissions fluid is added the same place you pull the check stick. You want to be sure you add the right fluid for your car.

Edit: Actually, the Malibu does not have a transmission dipstick. They have a plug that you have to loosen. This is on the passenger side of the transmission casing and can only be accessed with the car raised. The car must be running as you do this, or fluid will spill out quickly. With the car running and raised, slightly loosen the plug. Fluid should leak out slowly. If you are adding fluid, this is done through an access panel under the hood. It depends on the exact engine you have though for where it is under the hood. All things considered, the average person will probably take the car to a mechanic to do this. Terrible design by GM engineers.
