A 1999 Toyota Camry LE will have a inlet for the transmission fluid located next to the transmission housing. Before adding fluid to the system it is important to drain the older fluid. Be sure to add the correct amount and avoid over filling the system.

You add transmission fluid at the same place you check it.
The simplest case: you need to add/change transmission fluid. The hardest case: you have to change transmission.
To change the transmission fluid, you first drain the old fluid by removing the large bolt to the left hand side of the transmission, after it is drained you may place the bolt back on. Add the new fluid under the hood of the car, where you check the transmission fluid at.
Year?
Check the transmission fluid level, if it's not enough add more fluid.
