It depends where you're located. In the US, your options are relatively limited. A company such as Amex or Deak would have offices in larger cities where you could convert, but expect to lose 10 to 15% on the transaction, plus whatever fixed charges they impose. Larger airports also have exchange booths but these rarely give good rates.

In Jamaica itself you'll be more likely to find a lot of different exchange offices because much of their economy is based on tourism. Again, the larger firms will be your best bet - steer clear of airport agencies, and think twice about exchanging in hotels and stores because they'll usually take a large cut.
