To get the clay, go and see Kiah, resident of Rainy Meadows on Jungle Isle. When you talk to Kiah, she will tell you that you can find the clay northwest of her house by the Jungle Temple. There are 6 lumps of clay which need to be found. Just dig everywhere in the circle surrounding the jungle temple. :)- Dollarahead :)Bay server

Anywhere in forests you can find them. They usually are not on horseisle itself, but if you travel you can find them. You can also find them on horseisle if you look hard. Sometimes people drop them on the ground. Then you can just pick them up.

There is no "best place" to find them. You can only find red and normal pine cones in forests. So just walk around until you find a few.
