I'm trying to find the best tv antenna for my area Cadiz Kentucky 42211?

You are going to want to get an outdoor antenna because the signals in your area are weak. You may want to check with local antenna dealers for the best type of outdoor antenna for your area. Either that or look into cable/satellite tv. You will not get a whole lot of channels if any with just an indoor antenna.

What kind of cable was used in outdoor TV antennas before coaxial cable?

I`m Not That Old !!!!!!!!!!! Just Kidding. It Was Brown In Color About 1/2 Inch Wide & Flat. The Two Wires That Were In The Antenna Cable Where The Wires One On Each Side. This Ran From Two Screws On The Back Of The TV To An Outside Antenna It Worked, But Not Near As Well As Cable TV. Most TVs Today Still Have A Feature To Use This Antenna To Pick Up Your Local Channels. In The Menu It May Say On Your TV. Cable-UHF VHF. The uhf/vhf is the old style antenna connection. Don`t be supirsed if you find lots of people not having a cable bill to pay & using this antenna watching local channels and enjoying it. Wish I Could Too. The New Way Is Not Always The Best Way. And It Always Costs More. Thank You

How do you replace antenna on 1992 Toyota tercel?

Undo the screws holding the antenna assembly mounted on the roof of the car. Detach the cable from the back of the radio. This will be accessible from the driver's side footwell and visible from the passenger side footwell. Tie a guide line (strong string or twine) to the plug of the antenna cable. Withdraw the antenna assembly (pull it out and towards the back of the vehicle. Untie the guideline from the old antenna and tie it to the plug on the new antenna. Unbolt (15/32" hex head?) the dash panel from beneath the steering column. There are four bolts and a Phillips screw holding this in place. (Two bolts are are hidden with clip on hatches). The dash panel can be left in the footwell for now, you do not need to detach the hood latch release. Find where the string enters the car framework on the right side and pull the cable down and out of this hole. Having a friend thread and guide the antenna cable into the roof opening may help. Once the antenna assembly is fully seated into the roof, screw it into place and return to the footwell. Use the guideline to thread the cable through the under-dash space. The cable should be threaded over the steering column to avoid having it drop into the pedal space. Remove the guide string and plug the antenna into the back of the radio. Reattach the dash panel under the steering column and replace the bolt covers. It is possible to do the replacement without running a guideline but you will find it difficult to get the cable out of the frame into the passenger space.

How do replace the antenna on a 2000 mercury cougar?

If you are asking about replacing the exterior antenna on the cougar, than just twist it counter clockwise to unscrew it. I am not sure what size thread the antenna has on it, but it shouldn't be too hard to find out, and most replacement antennas come with a few different bolts to use.

The current location on the GPS in my BMW X5 is wrong. How do I reset the GPS to read the correct current loaction?

There is nothing to set. If the GPS receiver is actually indicating the wrong location ... more than a couple hundred yards/meters from where it really is ... then either the receiver or its installation is defective. -- Find a place that has an open, unobstructed view of a large part of the sky, without a lot of buildings surrounding it. Check the location as indicated by the GPS in that place. If it's wrong, then you have two major things to address: 1). The antenna system. The GPS antenna is somewhere on the outside of the car, and connects to the receiver through a shielded 'coaxial' cable. You have to inspect and verify that the antenna and cable are not damaged. If you can confirm that the antenna, the cable connection to the antenna, the cable itself, and the cable connection to the receiver, are all in good condition, and the receiver indicates the wrong location, then you have identified the problem: 2). The receiver is defective. It's as simple as that. See the dealer for replacement. With a BMW, this should not be a problem.

How much does it cost for a TV with an antenna?

Televisions with antenna's are no longer commonly manufactured, so the best place to find one would be at a vintage television store or a thrift store. If you're looking for a television that can reach more channels, I'd suggest purchasing a cable box or a satellite receptor.

Answer1998 MY (model year) Accent vehicle do not have a power antenna. Antenna mast should simply unscrew from mount.Step 1Activate the antenna switch to the up position.(turn on radio)Step 2 Using the wrench or needle-nose pliers, loosen and remove the original retaining nut on the base of the antenna mast.Step 3 Gain access to the underside of the area where the antenna is located.Step 4 Remove the bracket or brace that is below the hole and holding the antenna in place.Step 5 Remove the mast.Step 6 Find the motor that controls the antenna mast. Note the route the cable follows.Hope it helps
