Briggs usually puts the model type and code numbers either on the blower housing closest to spark plug, on a plate directly under the blower housing, on the top of the valve cover or sometimes on a plate attached to the blower housing. It kind of depends on the engine but if you look in those places chances are you'll find it
Try to find the ID number stamped into the block. Then contact a VW dealership.
Look for and find the bolts holding it to the mover unless it is a built in plastic part of the top - then find the screws or bolts for that. At least look first. You will need some small tools.

You won't get one that's valid besides the department of motor vehicles. The next best photo id to this is an employee photo id.
