They are grotto enemies. As such, there isn't a specific way to 'find' them, just to keep levelling up, keep obtaining higher level grotto maps, and eventually they'll show up while exploring.

∙ 12y agoThey are only in grottoes. Look around level 50+. They appear often with slugly betsys, charmours, gigantes and (sometimes) metal king slimes.

You have to fight a Moai Minstrel, which is a grotto enemy. You have to kill it with Hot Lick, but be careful, as Moai Minstrels wil self destruct using Kamikazee when they take a lot of damage.
