Have you looked under the hood on the driver side? I believe it has a black plastic cover over it.
You go on Ebay and Type in Fuse Panel diagram for a 1997 suzuki esteem
pull out the fuse
Go to your local Napa Parts Store. They have an online account with a national database. They can print a copy off for you.
I found that bad caps in the ECM (computer) will cause the IGN (ignition) fuse to blow.
It is important to have the diagram when changing fuses. If the cover to the fuse box is gone, a person can look in the owners manual and find a fuse box diagram.
under the dash above the fuse panel
under left dash is small fuses under hood right side, near fender edge rear is big fuses. examine for blown fuse. just like any fuse.
It is a black square module hanging from the fuse box under the left side of the dash.
The fuse box is located under the hood, above the battery.

its one of these but my full schematic set shows on power windows this year. this circuit uses a door lock circuit breaker , in fuse box. 30amp fuse, will be obivious. says left dash. this fuse runs windows and door locks both. so if both functions are dead, bingo, on fuse.
The fuse panel is located under the driver's side instrument cluster. Replace fuse labeled "acc"
