Look underneath the engine near the transmission. It should be there where it belongs unless someone moved it.

The 1993 Chevy Camaro starter can be found on the right hand side of the engine. You can follow the positive at three cable directly to the starter.
It is on the passenger side. If you cant find it how can you change it.
If you are referring to the starter solenoid then it is mounted on the starter.

Begin by removing the positive cable from your 1993 Chevy Camaro battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. The starter will come off.
The starter on a 98 V6 Camaro should be on the side of the engine block. It is close to the rear at the bell housing.
The purple wire for on starter 1980 Camaro is the solenoid wire. The wire can be dark purple or purple in color.
