Where do you get parts for retractable hardtop for 3000GT Mitsubishi Syper SL I need the whole kit or all parts?

Well to start with you can go to the most obvious place, eBay or do a Google search. You can also do a search through auto recyclers for the parts you need. If you can't find a good site online then you can go to your nearest auto recyclers and have them do a search for you. Now-a-days auto recyclers have most of their inventory on computers and a lot of them are hooked up to a national database that each place can access. So even if they don't have the part they may be able to locate someone who does have it. If you are looking at getting a brand new part that will be most likely impossible unless you have it made your self. I am not positive that there are not people selling these parts but considering there was less then 2000 of these cars made the chances of it being a part that someone wants to make to sell are slim. I would also check one of the dealers that still specialize in repair and maintenance of these special cars. If you go to the site;

There is a list of dealers that still are certified to work on these cars. It may be outdated but it would be a starting point. You can then check through them. If there are any NOS parts out there they should be able to get them. If not they might be able to steer you in the right direction. I have a 95 3000GT VR4 spyder and it is an incredible car. I have not had any problems with the top so it is fairly robust. If you get it fixed it will probably be the last time you deal with it.
