If your car is automatic then there should be only one look like a white transparent cup which comes with gray or black cver. It is always placed near your firewall.
Check your brake fluid, probably low.
You need a scan tool to properly reset the check engine light.
Check the coolant level. Or, thermostat could be stuck in open position.
