you relocate the bell housing and then push the wire in the rectum, its really painful but once its up there you get used to it, just remember the bell housing relocation must be in a safe spot due to excess youse of lube while inserting the wire
You need to pass it under the car just under the passenger floor mat you have a hole just the right size for the cable
On my '01 GA, there's a rubber septum under the carpet near the brake petal that you can get through to pass a cable through to the engine compartment.
Any wiring harness that passes through the firewall in a Cirrus will use a grommet. If you are adding a wire, snake the wire with the harness bundle to pass through the firewall.
there is no specific hole for this. use an existing rubber seal in firewall. take thin screw driver and insert in seal , stretching seal enough to push wire thru. seal will close around wire when you remove screwdriver
Run the wire under the car and come up under a seat (front or rear) or where it's convenient.
Speaker wire.
Depends on the output of the amplifier.
Connect the sub woofer to the equalizer or amplifier. The positive wire will need to be connected to a power source. Connect the ground wire. Connect the auxiliary wire to the amplifier.
If you can't find a safe way to snake a wire through the firewall, try going in from under the front or back seat area. Drill a small hole and use a tight fitting rubber grommet. Who says it has to go through the firewall anyway.
Amp always on
If its a v6 the #6 wire goes on the passenger side closest to the firewall. If its a v8 the #6 wire goes on the passenger side 2nd closest to the firewall.
It is the amplifier enable - turn on wire. Basically if the radio comes on power (voltage) goes on this wire to tell the amplifier to come on. And the amp is under the driver's seat.
