Looking at the engine from the front of the car, on the right side (drivers side) you will see a rectangular cap, about 5 inches long and 2 inches wide with a thick wire running along the center of it. That's the brake fluid tank. Standing on the drivers side of the car you must pull the thick wire towards you and the wire will fold down out of the way and you can pull that cap off. top off both the front and rear sections and replace the cap and pop the wire back up.
An 86 Blazer does not use a special type of brake fluid. Standard fluid from any auto parts will work fine.
in many cases, contaminated brake fluid is the problem.
Lift the vehicle on a car jack, remove the tire and set aside, remove the brake shoe/caliper and remove the old brake pad. Next, dispose of the old brake pad, put in the new brake pads, put the brake shoe/caliper back on, put the tire back in its place and lower the car.

There isn't a transmission fluid reservoir on an 86 S10 pickup. The transmission fluid is held in the transmission itself.

On my 86 2.0l it has a hydrallic clutch and there is no adjustment, but you can check the reservoir to see if there is enough fluid in it.

Assuming it's the same setup as the ones I've worked on, (I've never worked on <86), it should be in the fuse box located close to the parking brake pedal. The one you're looking for should be larger than the rest, and cylindrical-shaped.
