You are going to need a long funnel as it goes into where you pull the dipstick for the Transmission Fluid out
Unless it has a sealed for life transmission, you put fluid down the dipstick, where you check the fluid level.
I heard that you pour it into the tube that holds the dipstick where you ckeck the transmission fluid. They said use a funnel and pour it in the tube the stick goes in.
You add fluid down the same hole the dipstick is in.

It is important to know what types of fluids to put in a car to make it run smoothly. In a 1990 Chevrolet Pickup 1500 the correct transmission fluid is Dexron III or Dexron VI.
Same place you check it if it is an A/T. If it is a manual there is a plug located near the top of the transmission.
It is leaking. Have a complete fluid and filter change. Replace the pan gasket.
