It's as simple as that. You don't need a special degree - just take a few English classes so you know how the language works, then start reading and studying how successful authors do it. You might take a creative writing class if you want to, but you don't have to. Practice makes perfect.
By learning how to write -- and you do that by reading a lot and writing a lot. Practice and study make a good writer. Study the writers you enjoy reading to see how they do it, then practice doing it yourself.

There is no special to become a writer, in fact the only way to become a writer is to spend time writing. Like the old mantra says practice practice practice. This is the only way to become a writer.
