The fuel pump is located in the Fuel tank.. the way to disconnect it would be to lower the tank and disconnect the connector.

The fuel pump is down in the gas tank. Remove the tank and you will see where the fuel pump is plugged in. Just remove the bolts and unplug everything and reverse the procedure with your new pump.

you might want to try finding the fuse for the fuel pump, and unplug it, that might work
There is a relay that runs the fuel pump, but befor you start probing around in there UNPLUG the PCM, (engine Computer), then loosen a fuel line and apply power to the relay and see if you get fuel. >>>> CAUTION
Remove rear seat bottom unplug electrical from pump remove the 8- 8 mm bolts remove fuel & return lines, remove pump reverse process with new pump.
The fuel pump is located under the rear seat on the right side. When you bend the sead, you will see a black plastic cover, under wich is the pump. Unplug elektric cables and fuel hose, then loose the bolts. Pull the pump up. It is fuel level indicator and pump assembly. You can remove the pump and replace it itself.
