All cactuses have juice, or should I say cacti. One of the most popular is the Nopal Cactus Which grows in the Sonoran desert. It has this prickly pear type fruit or button that grows on the cactus. It is red in color and, like I said before, looks like a prickly pear They're just about the size of a kiwi. Just lake agave is extracted from its plant, its use for many things. you can buy agave in grocery stores. It looks kind of like a corn syrup or a light honey. It is the main ingredient in tequila. But back to the Nopal cactus. The juice that is extracted from these prickly pear type buttons has most recently been used a product called Nopalea. It is used to treat inflammation in patients who deal with day today discomfort Ok back problems, or joint problems, or any inflammitory problems. I personally don't know what it taste like but it looks delicious. I've seen it on an infomercial. Check out a picture online of the Nopal cactus and you'll see what I'm talking about.
