The Yamaha 400 Kodiak all terrain vehicle takes 2.6 liters of oil to fill to capacity the oil tank. That amount is approximately 2 and one thirds quarts of oil.
One can find a used Yamaha Kodiak on the sale-fire website. One can also find an assortment of them on eBay. On eBay, one has the option of Buy It Now or bid on an auction.
My kodiak 400 2003 idles well but when you throttle away it chugs like its no getting any fuel does any one have any clues
i have the same problem with my 06 kodiak 450. some one please help us. thanks
Do you have oversized tires? There are several things you could try, if you have oversized tires try a clutch kit, you can find them online, cant tell you which one is best, but you can bet it will be on Highlifters website. Next you could try a jet kit. If I wanted more power out of my Kodiak those are the first two things I would do. If that wasent enough you can add new exhaust.
I don't have a Yamaha blaster.... but I did a little search and found out that it is a two cycle engine. I'm sure that you realize that in a two cycle engine, you lubricate the engine through the oil that is added to the gas, and not through a traditional oil reservoir system. As far as what kind of oil you can add to the fuel to create the proper mix.... their are specially created oils for two cycle use. I know of one Yamaha two cycle oil that was used in a Yamaha scooter I had... it was called "yamalube" ... good luck!
No, but if neccessary u can add one on
add one yamaha motorcycle, and one rider, shake and serve.
One quart
one liter fuel 10 mill oil
there is a screw underneath the engine unscrew it and oil will go everywhere make sure u have a oilpan underneath it...drain all the oil out then...on the left side of the engine should be your oil filters take out the oil filter change it with a new one make sure u put the oil around the ring so it seals....then where your oil dip stick is fill it all up with new oil....whatever you use if u use no specific brand just use yamahalube 20w-40w
An 1986 model Yamaha outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, roughly one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
