The cabin filter it right behind the glove box. You will see a snap on door that covers the filter. Pull it off and slide out the filter.

I own a 2003 4Runner and the cabin air filter is directly behind the "Glove Box." It's in the exact same place on my 2008 Tundra. Open and clean out your glove box. Remove the piston on the right side of the glove box, let the box drop forward. Squeeze in the sides of the glove box to bypass the stops in the back of the box. Let it drop forward. Behind the glove box you will find a long door with the air filter inside. It's that simple.
