Mar 13:27 He will send the angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather God's chosen people from one end of the world to the other.
Rev 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so that no wind should blow on the earth or the sea or against any tree.

otherwise when a kid sits in the corner he could get stuck
Isaiah 40:22 in the Old Testament of The Bible says:It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in.So the earth was known to be round in Bible days.1-1-09: Also, in the book of Job Chap. 26 it says, "He hangs the earth upon nothing.." So Job knew the earth was hanging out in space by nothing.AnswerMy search produced the following verses;1. "....one end of the earth even unto the other.." Only flat surface have ends.. Dt 28;64. See also Psalm 19:4.2. ".... from the four corners of the earth..." Isa 11:12. Sphere don't have corners, a sheet of paper have four corners.3. ,,," into an exceeding high mountain, and shows him all the kingdoms of the world,.." Only in a flat earth can this verse be true.. Mt.4:8 see also Luke 4:54. ".... he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him,..." Rev 1:7. This is only possible in a flat Earth.5. "....He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,..." Isaiah 40:22. A circle as we all know is a flat circular disk just like a coin or round as drawn with a compass.AnswerPlease keep in mind- when this was written there was no word for Sphere- Also we know the earth is round and we still say one end of the earth to the other- because we are referring to a map. I would assume an all knowing being would know we would have maps-
The Bible makes no claim as to the world's shape.Another answer:Isaiah 40:21, 22 - Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.[NKJV]
If you are referring to the pedestal where all of the bronze figures stand, I would say sixteen (16) corners. If you are referring to the obelisk that sits in the center of the monument, it would be eight (8) corners, as the obelisk is fluted about two-thirds of its lower length. Sandugo07
Not exactly. Job says He "sits enthroned above the earth". Colossians says that in Christ "all things are held together", which would be a lot more than just the earth.

No planets are mentioned by name, however, 'stars' is referred to about 55 times in the New International Version - obviously this would include planets. The Earth is round like a circle:Isaiah 40:22New International Version (NIV)22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
Horizon line :P
The Earth would fall into the Sun.
