The cam sensor is the pickup plate under the distributor cap.
Top of the rear axle.
1992 Chevy trucks did not have a CAM SENSOR. They had a distributor.
It doesn't have one.
It is the "pick-up" plate in the distributor.
There is not 1 on that year. They were NOT used untill 1996
It is the two wire sensor on the lower rear driver side of the transmission.
Inside the distributor.
The speed signal comes from the abs sensor on top of the rear axle.

The vehicle speed signal comes from the ABS sensor on top of the rear axle.
