The excess glucose is stored in the roots of the plant to provide the plant with nutrients in the spring. The excess water evaporates from small pores within the leaf. That is why greenhouses are often foggy.

The small amount of excess carbon dioxide is stored within the plant and is released when the plant dies and decomposes.
