The 1995 Mercury Sable would have come from the factory with ( 5W-30 ) oil in the engines
The 2001 Mercury Sable does come with a CD player. If the car does not have a CD player in it, an install kit can be purchased to install a CD player.
Something is out of balance or the engine mountings are loose....get is checked out.
If you're referring to the plastic clips / tabs, the new filter will come with them.
In my 03 mercury sable, I had the same problem and it was the PVC elbow hose. It had a huge hole in it and I saw online that this is a problem with the 24V sable.
The light come on when the system detects a problem and sets a trouble code. You should have it diagnosed by a trained technician. The airbag system is not for do it yourselfers.
Brakes come in two types: disc or drum.See "Related Questions" below for coverage of both types...
a 5 cent broken hose that goes from engine through the firewall
I assume you talking about DRL lighting. No. That year Sable came with an automatic system which turn on all the lights when ambient light dropped and had a delay off timer when the car was switched off.
not standard, it was an option. If the vehicle has ABS, you will see an ABS light illuminate for a few seconds whenever the key is turned to the on position.
AnswerMake sure you have vacuum going into the cabin from the engine. The vacuum line runs from the intake manifold to a vacuum reservoir, which is a round plastic ball looking thing, then through more hoses through the firewall and into the cabin.AnswerYou have an air management problem. The air management controls are vacuum operated and the default position is defrost. You probably have lost vacuum to the dash control unit, possibly due to a broken or pinched line running into the dash, or maybe a leaking vacuum canister. The only way to diagnose is to use a vacuum gauge and pump tester to go through the system from beginning to end, and see where your vacuum loss is.
most likely there is a vacuum leak. check the vacuum lines leading from the intake the the interior heat and a/c control. look for cracks around the vacuum lines. check the vacuum canister and check valve.
As soon as the engine is started and the emergency / parking brake is released the daytime running lights are supposed to come on
There is a module that controls this. I forget the name of it offhand, however I do know that it is several hundred dollars just for the part. Just not worth it...

You have a problem with the EVAP system. Could be as simple as a loose or bad gas cap.
I suspect the process for removing a radiator from a 1996-1999 Sable is very similar to the 2001 - so the instructions in the "Related Question" below should be an excellent start.NOTE: please come back and edit this question and ADD your own experiences and findings!
The Sable Island horses were most likely placed there by farmers or owners that could no longer afford the taxes on their animals. Some however may have come ashore from ship wrecks that happened around that time.
The "Related Link" below has extensive information, illustrations, photos and diagrams for the 1990-1995 heating/cooling systems. This does not look like an easy under-taking, with all the airflow directions being controlled by separate vacuum controls. Oh yeah, and the dash has to come out.

I have a vague recollection that the neutral start switch could be the problem.See "Related Questions" below for more
everything works fine when its on the floor mode also the cooling fan for the engine does not come onI can't offer specifics, but this thought - relationship came to mind:The air directional controls are vacuum operated - and the engine will run real rough and like to stall when there is a vacuum leak. The heater directional vacuum control is on the firewall - somewhere above the gas pedal. Look in this area, both inside the car and in the engine compartment for disconnected/broken hose - and especially anything that is hissing like a mad snake.
where dose the vacuum under the battery come from
Defective alternator, short in battery, or loose or corroded connections.
