Most vacuum lines are 1/4 inch, some that go into the bottom of the carburetor are 1/2 inch. Hope this helps
The Vacuum line for an automatic transmission runs from the modulator valve on the rear of the transmission to a vacuum port on the intake of the engine. Any available port will do as long as it is on the intake, not the carburetor if so equipped.
It does not hook to the intake. It fits on the big vacuum port on the back of the carburetor.
The best place to look is a service manual for the vehicle.
If it's fuel related it's on the right side of your carburetor held in place by 3 screws & avacuum line.
