no history was kept on any lugers
you are wasting your time if you try to 'learn' some history on a 1937 luger.
the Germans did not keep detail issued records on each firearm nor did any nation keep detailed issued records on their firearms.
one exception is the US Civil War and Indian wars. there are SOME records indicating who a specific weapon was issued to, the date and unit.
