Palwaukee Airport is still around, located up on Milwaukee Ave. and Palatine Rd. in Palatine. There's a cool old brick hangar with a mounted two-color beacon right on the corner. Curtiss-Reynolds became Glenview Naval Air Station which closed in 1995. The old Hangar One is still there.

There are two airports located within the City of Chicago: O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY) is located in Gary, Indiana but is run by the Gary/Chicago Airport Authority. There are also other, smaller airports near Chicago, such as the Chicago Executive Airport (CXE) (formerly Palwaukee PWK), Waukegan Regional Airport (UGN), and DuPage Airport (DPA).

Midway is located in Chicago, Illinois. This airport is much smaller than O'Hare airport. Some people actually prefer the smaller airports over the larger ones.
