A 12 year old could do such things as offer to mow people's lawns for money, help out friends and neighbours with chores or any big projects, and, depending on where he/she lives, may be able to obtain employment as a paperboy/girl. Also, if this 12 year old is a girl, she could probably babysit. I suppose boys could do that as well, but it's not as common.

What are the 5 ages of tourism?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

pre-industrial revolution

the railway age

the auto mobile age

the jet aircraft age

the cruise ship age

My first would be 'The Age of the Grand Tour'. Then you have to seriously consider the bicycle, which was a serious means of tourism, at least in Britain, in late Victorian times. Then you should think about 'The Age of the Package Tour'. If you mean 'mass tourism' then 'pre-industrial revolution' does not count, because only wealthy people 'toured' at that time. Unless you count pilgrimages!

Differentiate tourism and business travel?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

domestic is like doing really nothing. And International tourism is going around the world or somewhere nice

Domestic tourism would be touring one's own country. International tourism is leaving one's country to tour another country. The USA has a huge tourism imbalance. Many more Americans travel to foreign countries than foreigners visiting the USA. Until 2010, our government provided absolutely no advertising money to promote tourism while foreign countries advertise here extensively..
