The Book of Genesis identifies four tributory rivers that went out of Eden, the Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and Euphrates. Only the last two of which are clearly known to us, but the Gihon is described as being in Ethiopia, which is actually in another continent.

Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that there can be no single terrestrial place that would serve as the common source of these four widely separated rivers. True, the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers do meet, but the lands the text associates with the first two rivers are clearly separated from the Tigris-Euphrates valley, the first to the north, the second to the south. This geographical impossibility tells us that the Garden of Eden was a purely mythical place. We can never answer where the garden would have been, because the story of the garden does not allow us to do so.

In Turkey...

Another Answer:

This is an age-old question that has several answers. Scripture mentions God 'transports' newly created Adam to the East. The Garden is said to have 4 rivers passing through it - only two of which are currently there. Some satellite photos have suggested two other rivers all coming to their source (head) in the Red Sea. This is currently in Southern Iraq while some others believe the river sources are in Northern Iraq, near the Turkish border.

Another answer

I do believe that at the time and Adam and Eve the earth was all in one place and had not been devided into its variouse countries as we now have. I have tried to find evidence for this in scripture but have as yet been unabe to do so. It does say however in Genesis 1v9 "And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so."

IT is obvious that the earth was devided at some later stage into its various

countries and though I respect the previous answers there is no evidence to say that the countries sugested are correct.
