In the King James version
Matthew first mentions him at
Luke first mentions him at
John first mentions him at
the evangelists did not write much concerning him. So, the next few verses after each of those quoted above would contain almost all that was written about him
From the Bible we know little about Joseph. There is no mention of miracles that were performed through him and there is nothing in tradition that tells us about miracles attributed to him. However, I am sure there are countless little miracles and favors that have been granted through the intercession of St. Joseph when people have prayed to him over the years. At the time Joseph was declared a saint there was no requirement for post mortem miracles to be proven. He was simply declared a saint by the early Christians.
The Bible does not mention what type of work Joseph's father did. Joseph was not actually the father of Jesus, God was Jesus' Father.
The bible does not mention the number of years.
No, there is no saint in the Bible named Garrett. The Bible does not mention any specific individuals named Garrett as saints.
Because he didn't do much worthy of mention.
There is no mention of a Saint Gabriella in the Bible. Gabriella is not a figure in the Bible but rather a name that originates from the Hebrew name Gabriel, who is an archangel who appears in both the Old and New Testaments as a messenger from God.
In the Bible, it is the angel Gabriel who is said to have spoken to Saint Joseph. Gabriel appeared in a dream to Joseph and told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife, for the child she was carrying was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
The date is not known. All we know is that he was still alive when Jesus was 12 years old but there is no further mention of him in the Bible. He was probably dead before Our Lord began his public life about the year 30 A.D.
The simple answer is that we don't know. The genealogy given in Matthew's gospel names his father as Joshua, but there is no record in the Bible or in the traditions of the Church of the name of his mother. There is an apocryphal work, generally rejected by Christians, with stories about Joseph's early life, but even this does not mention his mother.
sorry. I've studied the bible for quite a while and can say that there is no mention of saint Bridget there. Just so you know... There is no mention of anyone called by name that is a saint in the bible. Saints are mentioned in the bible as all the souls of the righthous that died as martyrs and are now waiting to be risen out of the graves at Jesus second comming. All other reference to the saints are not biblical.Catholic Answer:The Bible was written and its contents determined hundreds of years before Bridget was born so she is not mentioned in the Bible.
In those ages the records are not kept correctly like today. And as people were mot so educated as well either. So in the bible the age of Mary and the age of Joseph are not at all mentioned clearly at all.
The bible does not mention him , after the time Jesus gets lost in the temple, Why the obsession with Joseph? Joseph was a spiritual man. else he would have been completely cut out of the picture.
