Was Jesus ever portrayed with short hair?
There is no mention in the bible if whether Jesus' hair was long or short. We assume that his hair was long due to where we read about other men in the bible, during that time period, who had long hair. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ had NO shame. What He had was white as wool and snow - mine is white but with some darker in it. That's as close as I can get to being just like Jesus! He was NOT a Nazarite which had vows including long hair and not touching dead bodies which He did to raise them from the dead. Jesus was raised in Nazareth making Him a Nazarene without that Old Testament vow. Jesus had to be identified by Judas and was paid to do it! He looked like any other ordinary disciple and man of that time. Did you ever notice that in drawings the disciples and other men have relatively short hair and Jesus has long?
