Early man, saber-toothed tigers and dire wolves would have preyed upon whatever Woolly Mammoths they could find.
These creatures are far apart in time. Trachodon is from the Late Cretaceous and the Wooly Mammoth are from Pleistocene period.
The woolly mammoth was the last species of the genus Mammuthus. Most populations of the woolly mammoth in Eurasia and North America died out at the end of the last Ice Age.There are many explanations about how they died. One is: About 12,000 years ago, wetter, warmer weather began to take hold. The woolly mammoth, in its warm, thick furry coat, could not withstand the rising temperatures.Another is: Due to the climate change different plants started to grow in the countries in which the Woolly Mammoth lived. There became more of these plants and less grass and other vegetation the Mammoth ate. When the Mammoth's food source had gone they ventured further north in order to find some more food. Eventually there was no food left anywhere and the Mammoth died out. This theory's evidence is that by examining the pollen that came from around that time you can see that there are very little amounts of grass pollen (which is what mammoth's ate) and much more other pollen. You can see that the Mammoths moved further north when there became less mammoth fossils in areas the Mammoths used to live and more further North.
Yes. Hundreds of frozen mammoth carcasses haven been discovered in the last 300 years. The most recent find was found in 2007, in the permafrost of Russia.
I'm not completely sure, but I think you can still get it at the E store. Check there on the weekends and you may be able to find it.

Trachodon is a dubious name for some type of hadrosaur. They lived 77 million years ago. The first woolly mammoths evolved 600,000 years ago.
The Mammoth was an Herbivore, eating tree roots, plants and any vegetation it could find.
Yes, indeed, fossils of the woolly rhinoceros were found. See related links.
Mammoths were grazers. They primarily lived on grass, like African savanna elephants do today. Also like modern elephants, mammoths ate occasional leaves and fruits.
You can get a mammoth's tusk by killing a mammoth or you can buy one from Lucan, the Riverwood Trader. If you want to get a mammoth's tusk without killing a mammoth or spending gold, you can find a few mammoth's tusks and snouts as well in Halted Stream Camp, but it in that location there will be a couple of bandits that you will have to kill.
