Frodo is in the Houses of Healing within the city of Minas Tirith on that evening, recovering from his injuries after the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.
Peregrin Took, commonly called 'Pippin' or occasionally 'Pip' by family and friends. He is called 'Ernil i Pherianath' (Prince of the Halflings) by the people of Minas Tirith. Pippin introduces himself to someone (can't remember who) as "Peregrin son of Paladin."
Pretty much just to keep his eyes on him. You see, Pippin looked in to the Palantiri and that made Sauron think he was the one with the ring. That was partly a good thing so Sauron wouldn't be after Frodo. But it also put Pippin in a lot of danger and Gandalf didn't want him to get captured and taken to Sauron who would've then questioned him until he found out about Frodo and his plan. Hope this helps.
Minas Tirith is located in the South section of Middle Earth. When you open up a map of Middle Earth you can see Minas Tirith at the bottom of the map.
You beat the mission right below Minas Tirith- Top of the wall.
Minas Tirith.
A fool of a took is an insult that the wizard Gandalf uses twice the Lord of the Rings triology: once when Peregrin (Pippin) Took idly tossed a stone into a deep well in the dwarf-hewn caverns of Moria, and again, in the form "tom-fool of a took" after Pippin gazes into the Orthanc panlantir after it was hurled to the ground by Grima, the troubled servant of Gandalf's wizard colleague Sauruman. The Tooks are a family of hobbits that are regarded as being dimwitted. When Gandalf calls Pippin a "fool of a Took" he's saying in effect that Pippin is living up (or down, in this case!) to his familiy's reputation. // This has become one of the most popular quotes from the Lord of the Ring books, as a quick Google search can verify. NOTE: These are a couple of the *very* few times that Gandalf loses his temper with close friends: normally he is extremely kind-hearted and supportive - and not given to being quick tempered!! It should be noted however, that he never holds a grudge: he comforts and protects Pippin after his terrible encounter with Sauron via the seeing-stone, and in the battle of Minas Tirith defends Pippin even at risk of his own life.
what is another name for minas tirith
Because that was where he, his father and his brother lived - it was his home. Furthermore, he wanted The One Ring to be given to Gondor (Minas Tirith is Gondor's capital), for use in defence against Sauron.
Minas Tirith , Minas Morgul , Bree
I think you are thinking of Pelennor Fields.
Boromir wanted to return to Gondor and Minas Tirith.
Hasufel was a horse of the Rohirrim, ridden by Garulf of Rohan. After Garulf's death, Hasufel was loaned to Aragorn by Eomer in recompense for the accidental and only apparent slaying of Merry and Pippin by Eomer's riders. Aragorn rode Hasufel to find the hobbits taken by the orcs, and to Helm's Deep. There, Hasufel was returned to Eomer. From there, he was probably ridden to the battle in defense of Minas Tirith with the forces of Theoden.
