P0060 - heated oxygen sensor bank2 sensor 2 heater resistance p0062 - heated oxygen sensor bank2 heater control circuit
Where is the bank2 sensor 1 located on a 2001 subaru outback 3.0
96 has 2 one in front. there is no bank2 on I-4 motors S1 is always the front sensor S2 is the rear (behind CAT)
oxygen sensor bank2 sensor 1 faulty
The bank 2 pre cat O2 sensor is in the rear exhaust manifold, the bank2 post cat O2 sensor is under the car after the catalytic converter, P/S nest to transmission.
its connected to Muffler & Exhaust
Look at the exhaust system from the (bank 2) left hand (driver's side in US) side of the engine. Sensor 1 is the sensor closest to the engine. If you disconnect the electrical connector at the sensor, the two wires of the same color are used for the heater circuit. With ignition Key On use a voltmeter or multimeter to verify battery voltage (approx. 12V) across the wires on the harness side. If no voltage, suspect blown fuse, faulty PCM or damaged wiring. On the sensor side (with connector still disconnected), use an ohmmeter or multimeter to measure resistance across the two same-colored wires. Resistance should be greater than 0 but less than infinity. A reading of infinity is common for a bad sensor. A reading of zero is less common. Incorrect readings are also possible, but specific resistance depends on temperature of the sensor when measuring and you will need a service manual for more specifics.

Pass side, after the converter.

if it is a V8 bank 2 is on the right (passenger side). sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter (sensor 2 is after)
